About the Role:

Apple’s Product Operations group is seeking a Data and Machine Learning Program Manager to support the deployment of data systems, automation tools, machine learning models, and analytical capabilities aimed at enhancing Apple’s world-class manufacturing and supply chain systems.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is both creatively innovative and technically grounded—someone who is passionate about solving high-impact operational challenges using data science, machine learning, and program management skills.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, design, and deliver scalable tools and systems that support Apple’s internal operations, focusing on the integration of AI/ML into everyday decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of machine learning and data system projects, from ideation and prototyping to business justification and deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deploy high-quality, scalable solutions for process improvement and data-driven decision-making.
• Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and apply AI, ML, and analytics to improve outcomes.
• Build mockups, dashboards, and POCs before investing in full-scale development.
• Drive process standardization and re-engineering efforts.
• Prioritize and manage multiple technical projects, including defining project scope, allocating resources, and tracking deliverables.
• Work in both leadership and support roles, depending on project needs.
• Travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%) and adapt to flexible working hours as required by this global role.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of project or program management experience in a highly technical domain.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven hands-on experience in technical roles such as software engineering, data analytics, or data science.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their practical business applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Flexibility to manage priorities independently in an unstructured and fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and data-driven tools such as SQL and Tableau.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain management, or NPI (New Product Introduction) operations.
• MBA is considered a plus.
• Strong applied knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
• Experience in high-tech environments and with global teams.
